1. We introduce; we do not hire

AgEmployment publishes adverts placed by its members. Every vacancy and every CV on the board is the statement of the member who posted it. We do not employ anyone shown on the site, do not act as a recruitment agency or as either party's agent, and do not become a party to any interview, offer or employment contract.

2. Accuracy of adverts

We review adverts against our rules and remove those that break them, but a review is not a verification that a vacancy exists, that a salary is accurate, that an employer is solvent or that a candidate's experience is genuine. Advert text, stated pay and profile details are not warranties from us.

3. Your own checks

• Candidates: deal only with employers who name themselves and a real workplace, and never pay a fee to apply for a job or to be considered for one.
• Candidates: confirm the pay, the hours and the contract in writing before you accept an offer, and check right-to-work and licence requirements apply to you.
• Employers: verify identity, references, entitlement to work and any certification an applicant claims, before you make an offer.
• Both: keep your correspondence on the site where we can see it if a dispute arises.

4. General information, not advice

Articles, guides and figures published on this site are general information about agricultural work and about using the platform. They are not employment, legal, tax, immigration, veterinary or financial advice. Take advice from a qualified professional before acting on anything that affects your job, your workers or your business.

5. Vacancies and pay

An advertised salary is what the employer offered on the day they posted. Roles fill, budgets change and adverts are withdrawn. Nothing published here is an offer capable of acceptance by you; it is an invitation to treat.

6. Third-party links

The site links to the partner sites of our network and occasionally to outside resources. We are not responsible for the content or the practices of a site we do not operate.

7. Limitation

Our liability is limited as set out in section 10 of the Terms & Conditions. If something on the site misleads you, tell us through the contact page and we will look into it.
